The Couture Process
Welcome to an exquisite journey of couture craftsmanship that begins with a simple dream. At BUDISM COUTURE, we're committed to providing a genuinely bespoke experience, welcoming our esteemed clientele to our Maison by appointment for a highly personalized consultation.
Our process, from inception to completion, spans from 4 weeks to 6 months, depending on the intricacy of the design.
In our initial consultation, we encourage open conversations around your ideas, including the occasion and venue. We present our exclusive embroidery samples, crafted specifically for BUDISM COUTURE.
We also welcome any personal touches you might want to incorporate, such as photos or jewelry. This meeting can be as concise or as leisurely as you prefer; many clients delight in extending their visit into an afternoon tea with champagne, accompanied by friends. Throughout this process, our team will also take your measurements to ensure the perfect fit.
Our creative journey begins with conceptual sketches that encapsulate your ideas into tangible forms. This process is an iterative dialogue between you and our designers, ensuring every aspect aligns with your vision.
Crafting the final masterpiece often involves several hundred painstaking hours, engaging skilled tailors and seamstresses across three continents. Our embroideries are custom-created in specialized ateliers, while fabrics are sourced from the finest French and Italian mills. In a quest for uniqueness, we often deconstruct these fabrics and reassemble them to meet our design's demands.
Sketches & Designs
The sketches undergo multiple revisions until a final, high-quality, hand-drawn sketch crystallizes the design. During this stage, we also discuss potential fabric options, paving the way for the creation of the prototype.
Toile Fitting
From the finalized sketch, a toile or prototype of your dress is crafted. This step helps visualize the rough silhouette of the final dress and opens up opportunities for precise fit adjustments.
Conveniently, this toile can be shipped anywhere globally, and in some cases, we also offer a custom mannequin, meticulously handcrafted to mirror your exact measurements.
Making the Dress
Clients are welcome to visit during the creation process. Sometimes, we also document the journey in a commemorative video, a beautiful keepsake that can be incorporated into special occasions, such as a wedding video.
Final Fitting & Delivery
Our last stage offers another fitting opportunity to refine and perfect the garment. We provide worldwide delivery, either by courier or hand delivery. If required, we also offer assistance with dressing and during the event.
Moreover, our relationship with you doesn't end with delivery. We provide valuable aftercare advice and guidance on storing your garment to ensure its longevity, embodying our unwavering commitment to your satisfaction.
